Shopping, Prices, and Finances in Japan

This list is based on my personal experiences. I'm sure that other people with different experiences think some items are in the wrong columns. I essentially do all of my shopping in two places: "the Countryside", and Tokyo. Also, I've recently been able to go to Costco in Tokyo, about once a month. This has significantly changed my opinions of the price and availability of some items on this list, although the Japanese Costco doesn't have a ton of foreign products, it does have significantly more than other Japanese stores.
