Students need a daily planner. Students also need paper for two separate facets of classroom learning. 1. 6th Graders need to take notes for Math, Science, and Social Studies. 7th and 8th Graders need to take notes for all of these plus Religion. Notes are generally allowed to be used on tests. The challenge for students is to keep all of their notes in one place. This year, students will keep a separate notebook for each of these classes, and keep the notebook on a notebook shelf in [which classroom]. Students may occasionally take the notebooks home to study, but must immediately return the notebooks to the shelves upon return to school. 2. 6th through 8th graders need a huge amount of notebook paper on which to do daily assignments. Students are responsible for maintaining a constant supply of assignment paper, separate from their notebooks.
