Radiation / Radioactivity

1.  Look up a use of radioactivity by humans.

2.  Research this use of radioactivity:  Is it safe?  Why do we use radioactivity this way?  What type of elements/isotopes are used?  Is it cost-effective (expensive) to use radioactivity this way?  

3.  Try to find some opinions--some people who believe that this use of radioactivity is wonderful, and some people who think it's terrible.

4.  Choose one side of the argument.

5.  Write a 100-word-minimum mini-persuasive essay to share with the class.  Tell us why radioactivity should or should not be used by humans in this manner.  Tell us as strongly as possible why you're right.

6.  Be sure to use a bibliography, and be sure not to plagiarize.
