I had the hiyashi udon, which was a bit small, but fairly tasty. It was a plain plate of noodles with some nori sprinkled on top, and a sanuki-style dipping cup. A little bowl of onions and minced ginger was served on the side. There was no karashi. It was a little salty, and a little over-priced, but a nice meal.
I had been there once before, last summer. I had the niku-udon, which was some strange mix of different meats. It was a neat old building--dark wood, if a bit dingy. The biggest plus, though, was that they were open for an early dinner, a rarity among Yoshida Udon shops.
